Lucca has been sick again this week. Poor little guy. Yesterday he slept way more than he was awake, and most of it was on my lap. To add an extra bit of bummer to the whole situation, Carlo was out of town until late last night as well.
At one point yesterday, Lucca was asleep on my lap, and he opened his eyes, raised his head, pointed at my nose and made a statement, probably something like "tebleded." When I agreed that it was my nose, he flopped his head back down and was back asleep. So cute. He clearly understands so much of what we say these days, but he is still speaking his gibberish Lucca-language. I need to get some of it on video because I've been told that when he starts learning words he won't speak it anymore.
So, today he seems to be feeling a bit better, his fever is gone, and I think he's on the mend. I'm ready to put this cold/flu season behind us!

I feel for you! Lil' E has been running through a cold on average every two weeks - good ol' daycare is great for passing along the germs. I have the slight hope that it'll mean a stronger immune system in the end.
Tell Mr. L to hold on, spring is only 5 more days away!
